What it feels like
Most people describe strong, deep pressure that feels satisfying. On a tight area you feel it working for a few breaths, then the muscle softens and the pressure feels easier.

Finding the right pressure
The right pressure feels deep and releasing, and you can breathe slowly and stay relaxed through it. James checks in as he works so it stays right for you.
- Rate the pressure from 1 to 10 and aim for 6 or 7
- Breathe out slowly as pressure goes in
- Ask for lighter or deeper at any time
Reviews
Does deep tissue massage hurt? reviews
He spent time analysing my posture, looking for the sources of my problems, explaining to me how they are all linked, then gradually working on releasing the fascia in every single part of me.
He explained the problem and his methods with great care and clarity. The first appointment left me feeling far more mobile.
